IELTS Exam Preparation
We offer IELTS exam preparation courses (intensive lessons) to help you get the score you need. The IELTS (International English Language Testing Systems) exam is a good choice if you're preparing to study or work in an English-speaking country. IELTS is recognised as an entrance requirement by most British, Australian, New Zealand, and Canadian universities. Many universities and other centres of education generally require IELTS level 6.0 or higher as evidence of language ability. IELTS is also recognised by many employers and government immigration agencies as proof of English skills.

About Course
IELTS Score Bands & Descriptions
There are four modules:
- listening
- speaking
- reading
- writing
The course also includes study skills and IELTS examination practice.
The IELTS Exam Preparation courses:
- focus on the four main skills tested (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
- familiarise you with the format of each section
- develop strategies for dealing with each paper
- practise the kind of questions used in the test
- focus on the main parts of the interview
Level of English Offered & CEFR Equivalents
- A1 = Beginner
- A2 = Pre-intermediate
- B1 = Intermediate/Upper Intermediate
- B2 = Upper Intermediate
- C1 = Pre-advanced/Advanced
Maximum Class Size
15 (but usually class numbers range between 4 to 6 people)
Course Duration
The minimum length of time you can book a course for is 1 week (there is no maximum limit as you can book as many weeks as you want)
Intake Dates
Every week with a Monday start throughout the year (except national public and Christmas breaks). If you enrol on a part-time course (less than 15 hours per week), you would have agreed your class days (and start date) with a member of the admission team during the enrolment process.
Admission Requirements
- You do not need any previous qualifications to study English with us.
- You must be aged 16+
- We recommend that overseas applicants requiring a visa to study with us enroll in full-time courses (minimum 15 hours per week)
Fees & Funding
All our English courses are self-funded. You are considered to be a self-funded student if you are funding your own studies or you are getting financial help from family or friends or receiving financial assistance directly from an external funder excluding UK student loan
How To Apply
You can apply online or by downloading and completing our Student Application Form and providing us with a copy of your passport or a valid photo ID.
Class Times
This course is 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, usually Monday to Friday. You can choose from one of our three sessions to attend your course (subject to availability).
